Fashion Attack! The Ped Egg, Pedicures Done Easy
I love getting pedicures. I love picking the color that will go on my nails, sitting in the salons and feeling indulged once in awhile. However, I am a student and haven’t started my full-time gig yet, so I have to make some beauty concessions. The Ped Egg is one of my best beauty saving buys ever! The Ped Egg only costs $3! I calculated that by using the Ped Egg, to soften my feet saves me...

Daily Food Log: Lunch and a Prized Accessory
Lunch consisted of leftover Chipotle salad courtesy of this amazing coupon and some tea.
Yum! Chipotle tastes even better on the second day! And although I am spending my whole day in my room paper writing, I thought I would still wear something pretty (I conjure up motivation in the weirdest ways). My sister purchased this ring for me two years ago and it is still hands down my favorite piece...

Daily Food Log: A Warm Monday in Denver
I woke up so early today. I am talking 5am early. Why? Because I have programmed myself to get up that early to go to my favorite cycling and yoga classes. But I am taking a self-imposed break from working out, so I will see how that works out. I did get some blogging and reading in. I chugged some water with lime in it, read some more, then made breakfast!
Breakfast included:
1 cup of Safeway...

Daily Food Log: Downtown Sunday
Breakfast was bright and early. I had a medium tomato (a tomato that is plain and cut up is life-changing).
Breakfast:
1 medium apple
1 medium tomato
1 cinammon raisin bagel thin with “I can’t believe its not butter!”
2 over easy eggs
1 trillion gallons of water with lime juice (I was thirsty than a mug! Chicago slang for you.)
Then I hopped on the Denver light rail to...

For Your Health: Cocktails Get Quirky and Low-Cal!...
Pinnacle Whipped Vodka - Maybe you’ve heard of whipped cream infused with alcohol (it exists and is likely super-fatty!)… but alcohol that tastes like whipped cream?? This stuff is fat-free with stats comparable to standard vodka. (A 1.69-oz. serving, about 1 shot, has 125 calories.) There’s even a Chocolate Whipped version (and other wacky flavors too)! We’re already...

For Your Health: Healthy Reflections, The Secret...
Positive people tend to have many similar characteristics, such as respecting everyone’s contribution to a project and knowing during hard times that things will get better. They have the power to make that change happen, an understanding that their attitudes can directly affect outcomes, and a commitment to increasing positive thoughts and diminishing negative ones. Are you putting effort...

Fitness Check-In: Plateau
I have hit the dreaded plateau so I will be taking a break from working out this week. Well it isn’t a full break. I will still be going to Bollywood Dance because it gives me life and it is only one day a week. I will also continue my 10 minute daily videos from Sparkpeople. I will probably go crazy, so stay away. How do you deal with a weight loss plateaus?

Last night I attended an Oscar Watch Party (my first time watching it, ever) and I really enjoyed it. What stood out to me most was the fashion. Who do you think wore each style better?
