Fashion Attack! Chanel Resort 2015

This week, Karl Lagerfeld debuted Chanel’s Resort 2015 collection near Dubai. I am really loving the innovation and uncharteristic Chanelness look of this collection. The colors, the mix of patterns and prints, the texture, I love it all.

What do you think of this collection?

Fashion Attack! Valentino Fall/Winter 2014

Opera inspired opulence? These some of my favorite looks from Valentino’s looks for Fall. This line radiates attention to detail, decadance, huge color, and feminism.

What do you think?

Fashion Attack! The Style Evolution of Leonardo DiCaprio

“Before he hits the big screen in Gatsby as one of literature’s best dressed gents, we look back at the leading man’s stylish progression from kid actor to A-lister.”

I am a serious fan of Target’s recent fashion collabs. Target’s latest collaboration with designer Kate Young is nothing to scoff at. I love the bright colors and the girlish flair! The whole collaboration screams I am ready for WARM WEATHER! Prices range from $15 – $90. The collection drops on April 14th in-store and

Below are some of my favorite pieces!

Do you like any of the pieces from the Target X Kate Young collab?

These shoes are too good not to buy and it is ALREADY open-toe, bare-leg season here where I live in Mexico.

Get them here. Happy almost Friday! Tonight I am going out with my ladies and doing some Crossfit right after work.

While most of my friends are freezing and suffering through the last couple months of winter in the United States, I am not. Living in Mexico, the worst of the winter weather passed. I have put away my winter jackets, snow boots, and tights. And yes, it actually snows in some parts of Mexico.

I am ready to dust off my spring frocks and shoes and get into spring trends! As a lover of fashion I am perfectly okay following trends. I embrace trends. Fashion is trends. People who say don’t follow trends are usually lying. It doesn’t make you less trendy to be aware of trends and actually follow them. I promise. You will NOT lose your fashion street cred.

To identify the latest 2013 trends, I looked to the fashion news bible, Women’s Wear Daily. There search function revealed the lastest looks that we should all look foward to!

SPRING 2013 Trends (click here for more information). Below are some of my favorites!

My favoritest trend? Animal and Wild.

ASOS is doing it with this look. Best of all? It is only $25USD.

I DIE for this fashion collaboration. Seriously. The color, the flirty skirts and ruffles. The strappy sandals. Did, I mention the color? The eye catching print.

The damage? The prices range from $13USD to $200USD with the most expensive item is a eye-catching blue leather jacket which is pictured below.

You can snag all of the above and more in Target stores and at on February 10!

For me, the most amazing form of artistic expression is fashion. Consumers take what the artist/designer has made, designed, and sold and it becomes apart of that person. What intrigues me the most are shoes. Each shoe is an expression of the wearer. For example, if I am feeling sassy, I wear a colored heel. If I am feeling sexy, I wear a strappy sandal. If I want to feel relaxed I put on some high tops. Each pair of shoes matches my mood.

When I discovered Shoe Lust, I was thrust into shoe heaven. The blog hardly has words, but it does have an abundance of beautiful looking shoes. Below are some of my favorites.

Are you feeling shoe inspired now? Have a happy Friday :)

Try to say the title of this post three times fast!

I love faux fur. I have owned one fur coat, of which I gifted to my mother. However, I am a fan of faux fur. I own one faux fur vest, one faux floor length fur coat (which I gave away because I am in living in Mexico and it makes no sense to have it), and one faux fur hat.

To add to my faux collection, I would love to have this ASOS Faux Fur Snood.

That snood could add instant glam to any outfit. And for only USD $38.70 you can own it too!

Liven up your outfit with this fashionable faux fur snood. Thank me later. Click here to purchase.

Fashion Attack! DKNY’s 2013 PRE-FALL COLLECTION

“Sand to sidewalk” is how DKNY’s pre-fall lineup was described in the press notes, and those hues — mostly black, white, stone and cement…” ( This pre-Fall collection is a mix of masculinity and femininity, hard and soft, sexy and demure. What can get better than that? The best aspects of this collection? The mere fact that all of the pieces very versatile. You can get a million wears out of anything that is in a neutral color such as black and white. These items may be pricey but when you calculate cost per wear for years to come, it may be worth it.

This past Saturday, a group of my colleagues and I headed to Mexico City from our little town of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico to celebrate the birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps. Mexico City is an amazing city with so much personality! I did take some pictures but I wanted to share two pictures of me in my gown during the Ball.

What I Wore:

  • Free People Dress
  • Shoes: BCBG
  • Vintage Jewelry

I am in love with Mexico City and I am already planning another trip ASAP!

Fashion Attack! Sexy High Tops for Women, 2 Chainz, and Drake

I had a great post scheduled for today, but then I checked my favorite Hip Hop site and watched the new “No Lie” video featuring Drake and 2 Chainz. I DO NOT support the lyrics but I DO support rolling down my windows of my extra clean SUV blasting a super hard beat.

I also have noticed that a number of high fashion ladies are starting to incorporate high tops into their wardrobe and I am one of them! :). Although my test is not scientific, I correlate high tops with hip hop (or whatever version of music 2 Chainzzzzz is considered).

Below is a selection of low, mid-price, and fancy lady selection of high-tops that you might want to consider.

Dakota High Tops $24.86 (I own these bad boys!)

Destiny High Tops for $58.00 (These are for the girl who isn’t afraid of color.)

Adidas Original Attitude High Top $111.02 (These are for the old-school fancy lady.)

Get with the trend also give your poor feet a break because according to the National Institute of Health, long-term high heel use can really damage your little piggies.

I never really understand why people say they don’t follow trends. We all follow trends. Nothing is wrong with taking a trend and making it your own. In fact, one Spring 2012 trend that I am really digging is NEON

Lime satin Box Clutch Bag - Wallis

You may not be as bold as I am (all of my clothes are obscenely loud colors) but jumping into this trend can be achieved by incorporating an accessory into your wardrobe. Wallis makes this amazing Lime Statin Box Clutch bag. It is made with a Lime Statin. It is a covered hard box clutch bag with a chain strap so the bag can be worn across the body. 100% Polyurethane. To take care of stains and accidents just wipe it clean. Jump into the neon trend!
